Bombing the Brits

Over the past month, a series of bombs have hit the great city of London. It is as yet unclear how many have died, how many will be maimed for life and how many will be scarred in their psyche for life. A gross and inhuman act in the name of "the religion of peace". At present it is generally expected that further bombings will follow.

Big Mistake.

Now I don't like England. I don't like the weather. It rains all the time, and when it isn't raining you can't see a thing because of the fog. I don't like their soggy fries soaked in vinegar. I don't like their virtually non-existent cuisine. (Yorkshire Pudding and haggis are the exception and I hate that too.) I don't like the women, cause they are neither as bright nor as gorgeous as the Dutch. However, I do like, nay, I love the Brits.. The Brits may be protestant, or catholic or pagan, Welsh, Scottish, Irish or English, they may call themselves Tories or labor or liberal. They are, without them even realizing it, first and foremost British. Their soul seems to be intertwined with their island, nourished by its soil. I adore that stiff upper lip. And when that stiff upper lip starts trembling in mild irritation.

It has been tried before to break the spirit of the Brits. V1's and bombers swarmed over London almost daily, three quarters of a century ago.. Did the Brits give up? Nope! One of the greatest world politicians of all times summed it up: "We shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and the oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.""

Bombs might be falling left and right. The Brits will have their cup-a-chai, unperturped, and get on with their lives.

So, my message for Al Qaida for today is: "Congratulations. Hope you don't get bored with your 72 virgins too quickly. Hope they don't use their teeth too much. Great thing you acted according to the letter and the spirit of islam. Bad thing you had to piss of the Brits. First you made the mistake of pissing of the Americans. Everyone knows how crazy those cowboys are. Now you make an even bigger mistake. Why do you guys keep fucking with the wrong crowd?
I know you guys are "dying" to get to your paradise where the child-raping, mass-murdering slaver Mohammed is waiting for you with your 72 virgins. But haven't you ever heard of "efficiency"? Britain is not Spain. New York is not Bali. Stop fucking with the wrong crowd."

My favorite Brit quote is:

"Never, Never, NEVER give up!"

And did you notice that the sweatshirt of one of the latest bombers was emblazoned with "New York"?

Oh, the irony...

You got ahead of me with that post.

The way I see it, England has been more efficient in finding the culprits in their own country, than we have here in the States. (Not that we're not trying)-I think both the bureaucracies of FBI-CIA got in the way of catching the terrorists prior to our 9-11.
My point is, there will come a time when the terrorists will do something-really bad- may be small or big in scale, but bad enough that the US and GB will react very "harshly" regardless of what the "international comunity" says. And who can blame them?

The Day of retribution is coming.

Sadly Ciscokid, you are right. Here in Europe the rift between moslims and others is growing.
Since it is not politically correct and sometimes not even allowed by law to speak out against the violence and terror of islam, a growing number of people are finding that the only people who are willing to speak out on their behalf are on the extreme right. When people are not allowed to speak their mind anymore they get angry. When the freedom of speech is smothered violence erupts. In the name of political correctness dialogue has become impossible.
There's a storm brewing. It's not going to be pretty.

If your kids ever get blown away by a psycho, I hope no one will stop by and tell you it's all your fault because you're too rich and a tyrant.

Brilliant. The last lot of bombs failed to go off. Can you imagine what went on in the heads of the 'suicide' bombers when their backpacks only went fizzbang and they had to run for it? I shouldnt, but I was ROFL at that. Death by immediate obliteration, it seems, was preferable to death by a serious handbagging/kicking from the passengers in the next seat......
Heaven, but not at any price?

Dear Bulb,

I think you mix up cause and effect when you write:

"a growing number of people are finding that the only people who are willing to speak out on their behalf are on the extreme right."

Don't you think, that the demonizing term "extreme right" is only used to label all non conformistic people?

In Holland, if you are talking like American Republican you are called: extreme right.

Isn't extreme right just short for: "people who can be shot like Hitler, to save our nation"?

You got me there. You are of course completely right. As soon as you speak out over here, you get labeled "extreme right" and have to start hiring bodyguards.

But I was refering to a more sinister development. The lack of freedom of speech is slowly building up tension. Compared to the islamic culture, our societies may be extremely advanced and cultured, but scratch the surface and the ugly beast rears its head. History shows that Europeans can be savage!
Right now all the violence and murder comes from muslims and the extreme left. What I am affraid of is that soon people will start to retaliate. Dialogue will stop.

What I mean is..... It doesn't take an idiot to figure out that if our socialist politicians continue to demonize anyone that dares speak out against the violence, the rapes, the antisocial behaviour, we will have a bloody civil war on our hands within the next century.
And that's what I am affraid of.

Why are the muslims and our politicians so affraid of dialogue? Why can't the truth about what is happening not be said?

*is still laughing* first of all, yes vinegar can make the chips soggy.Secondly thank you for the stiff lip true.As I am a Brit. And Female.Considering your gender comments, it is probably a good thing to stay single*S*
But I stray.. The bombing's for once leave me speechless.I have to shake my head and try to get it wrapped around how it can be considered 'good' to kill men, women and children on purpose, deliberatly. And how that enables you to ascend to a place where virgins are waiting for you.No I am not a raging feminist.. but it does what with women.. where do they go?As for the political side.. When did we get so soft? When a line is drawn in the dirt and people told not to cross it, and they do... then what?Ok Ok I'll stop now...
Lastly you have an interesting wit and I will visit your blog again*S*

I agree with everything you say. Pretty much. But to be fair, Al-Qaeda attacking the States only led to George Bush declaring war on Iraq. He bombed Afghanistan for a bit... but that did squat except kill people and a few Canadian troops (although, being a Canadian, I'm not too offended since he's probably killed more American troops with friendly fire than Canadians). But I digress. The point was - the terrorists were fucktards for messin' with the British. Agreed. So very much agreed.
